How does ResMed AirSense transmit data? ›

Your AirSense machine does not use WiFi. It transmits data wirelessly to myAir using mobile cellular technology. Your machine automatically transmits data when it is within range of a mobile network cellular and has a strong enough signal.

Your AirSenseTM 10 or AirCurveTM 10 machine includes cellular communication technology. This technology connects automatically when your machine is within a cellular coverage area. There is no need to connect to your home network or cell phone.

A connected CPAP machine can use Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity to upload the usage data to a cloud service after every use. Additionally, compact and portable CPAP devices designed for travel can use Bluetooth Low Energy to connect to a smartphone.

There are a few of reasons why your patient's data may not be transmitting to you: Your patient's device may be in Airplane Mode which will disable wireless transmission to AirView. Ensure that Airplane Mode is turned off. Your patient may be experiencing poor cellular coverage.
