Plus most of the characters are unlikeable and they seem to be a very unlikely group of friends (as opposed to gen 1 in particular, who seemed to be a believable group of mates). That whole gen is super cringe and, for me, completely unwatchable. I loved gen 1 and really liked gen 2, but I feel like gen 3 really let the whole thing down.

So my first reason is simple Gen 3 really got off on the wrong foot. My second reason for Gen 3 failure is simple the characters and sorry was so discombobulated and made no sense. Like in S5 Everyone was mean/edgy for like no reason and it came off comical.
