The Carnival Winter squash is a popular type of winter crop that is produced from descendants of Mexico's sweet dumpling squash. It was first introduced to the market in 1991 and is a cross between green table queen and sweet dumpling varieties. This winter squash requires warmer temperatures and sunny locations to thrive.
