Colet have been family winemakers working the same vineyards since 1873. Sergi Colet finished university in 1992, working his first vintage at Gramona. In 1993, he and his father established a small winery with 12,000 bottles. During that time, to make ends meet, he was a car salesman for three years, working weekends and holidays at the winery.

Sergi's family have been farmers for generations and have worked their vineyard since 1783. They used to be tenant farmers but 34 years ago Sergi's father raised the money to buy their land.
