About 15 to 20 minutes before you're ready to bake it, preheat the oven to 325ยฐF. Uncover the strata and bake uncovered in the preheated oven until the strata is puffy and golden-brown, 60 to 75 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperate for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with fresh minced parsley and enjoy.

Whip up your own Breakfast Strata the night before, pop it in the oven in the morning (and try not to drop it on the floor.), and serve with a luscious Ambrosia Fruit Salad and flaky.

At last weekend's Book Club, I was sharing a tale about my addiction to DVD commentaries and other special features. Then, just last night, I discovered that the "Special Features" section of one of my favorite movies (The Family Stone) was a recipe for Morton Family Strata, which Sarah Jessica Parker's character attempts to make in the film.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, remaining salt, oregano, and garlic salt. Pour the egg mixture over the casserole, sprinkle the parmesan cheese over top, and decoratively place the black olives. Cover the strata with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. The next morning, preheat the oven to 325 ยฐF (or 300 ยฐF with convection).
