They're back! Well, not in the US. But Post has started selling Oreo O's again in South Korea and I got my hands on a few boxes. Wish they'd bring this cerea.

Dongsuh Food's Oreo O's was recalled and discontinued in 2014 because of E. coli issues, but now it's back. It's also, apparently, extremely hard to find the cereal because the demand for it is so high. Currently, Oreo O's is available for purchase for $8 in South Korea and $22 on eBay, which is quite expensive for cereals.

When first introduced, the box described this cereal as "the delicious taste of OREO in a fun-to-crunch cereal." The cereal was made up of chocolate donut-shapes pieces with sugar sprinkles. In 2001, disc-shaped marshmallow pieces were added. Later renditions of the cereal had the the text "extreme cream taste" printed boldly above the name.
